Hard to find, all the construction made us almost miss it but the spouse has good eyesight and say it behind the gas station, glad she did because it was worth seeking out.
Also hard to find is a good fried chicken at a decent price.
Server was superior, took great care of us even though the first two taps were kicked we did get ice cold ones and some fluffy whipped potatoes and brown gravy.
Well worth a return trip. -

We had the 12 piece bucket and were delighted with a crispy and flavorful fried chicken dinner. The service was nice and we will definitely be returning to this hidden gem.

After reading reviews across the board (Yelp, Google, Trip Advisor ect.) I had low expectations of what was to come. Boy, was I wrong! It's a divey place of sorts but their Fried Chicken was crunchy, crispy, SUCCULENT, & Fresh out of the Deep Fryer. For $7 I got the Chicken Plate with 2 sides (All White Meat) their mashed potatoes and gravy were great. Not those instant powder potatoes that disintegrate in your mouth- these were homemade along with their brown gravy. The green beens were also every bit of homemade you could ask for. Each plate is served with a biscuit and butter as well! I happened to pop in during their Happy Hour which meant beer/wine was $3 a glass!
If you're in the area and you're craving some GOOD Southern Home Cooking, stop by here and you'll thank me later. -

Called in an order for livers and gizzards. It was ready when I arrived. Very tasty. Enjoyed every bite. It's nice having a place close by that sells these now instead of driving to Callahan. I've heard the country fried steak is awesome too. Next time. Check this place out.

Our server, Colby, was the best part of our visit. The wings were pretty good, but I was not impressed with the fried chicken. It seemed like "yesterday's" chicken had been reheated, and was flavored more with the grease from the fryer than seasoning. The baked beans were excellent but the collards and potatoes were average. I would give it another chance, maybe during a dinner rush to get fresher food, but it's not going to be my first choice.
